Edgar Allan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a writer famous for mostly his mystery and macabre. He wrote not only poetry but short stories as well. Poe was known as a figure of Romanticism, and Literature. At the age of one his father abandoned him and his mother, and then the year after his mother died leaving him an orphan. He later was taken in by people by the names of John and Frances Allan; who lived in Richmond, Virginia. As a young adult he attended the University of Virginia, but he later dropped out due to the lack of money. He then joined the United States Military Academy just to be expelled years later. In 1836, he married his cousin, Virginia Clemm. Later in 1847, she died of tuberculosis. He died on October 7, 1849 in Baltimore, Maryland, his cause of death is unknown.



Erin Hanson

Erin Hanson was born on the year 1981, in Portland, Oregon. She is a artist of impressionism and expressionism, plus a poet. She is one of four children from Nancy and Mark Hanson. When she was young her parents made her read books, play music, and appreciate the outdoors; since there was no television allowed in her household. She says that this made her have the passion of being an artist. In 2007 she turned art into her full-time job, after going to college for bio-engineering in UC Berkley. Hanson now has international art galleries that can be found across the United States.

William Shakespeare

William Shakespeare was born in April in the year 1564, in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. He was a poet, playwright, and an actor. He wrote comedies, histories, tragedies, and tragicomedies. The Era he lived in was called the Elizabethan Era, due to Queen Elizabeth the first ruling. The years that he lived in were considered The Lost Years because no actual information was recorded in that time period. When Shakespeare married he was 18 years of age, while his wife named Anne Hathaway was 26 years of age. He and his wife had three kids together, the oldest named Susanna was born in the year 1583; the youngest were twins named Hamnet and Judith born in the year 1585. His son Hamnet died at the age of 11, his sisters at the age of 66 and 77, Hathaway at the age of 67, and Shakespeare at the age of 52.

Christopher Poindexter

Christopher Poindexter lives in Pensacola, Florida. He is a poet, that uses a typewriter for his work. Hes known to describe himself as an observer, and call his spirit animal Jim Morrison. He has his own online shop called Christopherspoetry. He has two books on Goodreads called Naked Humans and Lavender.

Nikita Gill

Nikita Gill was born in the year 1986. She is a write of short stories, and poetry, plus a visual artist. Her book Your Body is an ocean: Love and Other Experiments was published on August 6, 2012. She was once rejected by 137 publishers, but now has over hundreds of views for her work on her blog each day.
